To turn off autoplay videos in the Brave browser, you have the option to disable it entirely for all websites or to block it on specific sites.
Desktop browser
macOS version
To stop autoplaying videos in the desktop Brave version on macOS, you can follow these steps:
- Go to the Brave browser settings by typing
brave://settings/content/autoplayin the address bar or Settings, Site and shields settings, Permissions, Additional permissions, Autoplay (block sites from autoplaying videos). - Select the default behavior

to restrict autoplaying videos. - You can also add specific sites to the
Allow

list to customize autoplay settings for individual websites.

Windows version
